Field Trips to the expERIEnce Children’s Museum are a great way to engage students, while infusing knowledge into play, across a broad range of topics including language arts, math, science, health, art, history and culture.
To schedule a field trip please contact the museum by phone (814) 453-3743 two weeks prior to the field trip.
Payment is due no later than the day of the field trip and must be made for the entire group. Anyone paying separately from the group will pay the full admission rate.
$4.00 per student is the field trip admission rate.
One free chaperone for every 5 paying students (5:1 student to chaperone ratio is required).
Food: All food must remain in the designated eating areas. Field trips can reserve the Loft space for lunch for $25.00 per hour.
How to Play at the expERIEnce Children’s Museum:
- Museum field trips can take anywhere from 2-3 hours.
- Walking feet only.
- Inside voices.
- Put items back where they belong.
- Stay with your group.
Featured during the spring of 2016 (March through the third week of May) is a traveling exhibit called, Storyland. Storyland brings to life three classic childhood stories including, “Where’s Spot?”, “The Snowy Day”, and “The Tale of Peter Rabbit”.
