Volunteer Information
The expERIEnce Children’s Museum needs fun, enthusiastic, dependable teens and adults who want to work around children, build a resume, meet new people and have fun!
Adult and Teen Volunteer Program (for ages 14 and older)
- High-school/program credits for community service
- Internships for college students
- Opportunities for individuals, groups and classes
- In-house training
- Special project opportunities (Birthday parties, mailings, outreach events, special events)
- Special benefits and resume enhancements
- Receive a FREE Museum membership after 100 hours of volunteer time
Handprints in Time
Be a part of the expERIEnce Children’s Museum’s new entrance and expanded space by purchasing a “handprint” tile. Tiles will be permanently set in the new entry area and in the new exhibit area. You and your children create your personalized tile. Your only limit is your imagination. All proceeds from the sale of tiles help fund the new expansion at the Museum.
A limited number of tiles are available, so call the Museum now to reserve yours!
Two tile sizes are available.
- 6”x6” - $100 each
- 12”x12” - $250 each
Exhibit Sponsorships
You, your family or company can support the learning experiences at the Museum by being a sponsor of an exhibit. A sponsorship plaque with your name on it will be prominently displayed on the exhibit. The sponsorship helps cover the cost of upkeep and consumable supplies. Call the Director of Development for more information.
Event Sponsorships
Join our efforts by becoming a sponsor of a Museum event such as Kids Expo, Picnic with Santa, Chemistry Day, Multicultural Day… there’s a whole lot to choose from! Call the Director of Development for upcoming sponsorship opportunities.
Celebration Donation
We have found that many people want to give back to their community in one form or another, but don't know where to begin. Celebration Donation is a non-profit organization that helps people celebrate special times in their lives by giving to others. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, retirement or graduation, you can commemorate the occasion with a donation to your favorite charity using Celebration Donation.
If you are considering giving back, please consider the expERIEnce Children's Museum. When you visit the Celebration Donation website, you can select the expERIEnce Children's Museum as the recipient of your donation. All donations will be used to fund programming at the Museum.
