NEW ADMISSION PROCESS
We ARE committed to upholding safety guidelines required to reduce the spread of COVID-19, which include: 1) physically distancing; 2) wearing face coverings; 3) washing and sanitizing hands; 4) cleaning and disinfecting surfaces; and 5) staying home if sick.
Like most places reopening after COVID-19, the Children’s Museum will be different than before, but will continue to provide families with a safe learning experience. As we look forward to welcoming visitors back to the Children’s Museum, we want you to know the steps the Children’s Museum is taking to reopen safely to our employees and visitors. Review our Strategy for Reopening plan here.
The health and safety of our visitors and staff is our top priority. The new admission process we have put in place for our reopening was done so for the following reasons:
- Online reservations will allow for contact-free entry.
- Limiting the number of visitors at one time allows for recommended physical distancing. Each time slot will be limited to 75 visitors.
HEALTH POLICY AND CODE OF CONDUCT
All visitors at the time of reservation will be asked to review and accept the ECM Health Policy and Code of Conduct.
- HEALTH POLICY
To ensure the health and safety of all visitors and staff, the expERIEnce Children’s Museum requires that anyone enter the Museum to be free of the following symptoms related to the COVID-19 virus including fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches, sore throat, headache, and/or new loss of sense of smell or taste.
Also, anyone entering the Museum must NOT have come into close contact (within 6 feet) with someone who has a laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis in the past 14 days.
- CODE OF CONDUCT
We are committed to providing a healthy and safe environment at the expERIEnce Children’s Museum, but we need your help! We are asking all guests and visitors to partner with us in our COVID-19 wellness efforts. When visiting you are agreeing to follow our code of conduct, which includes:
- Do NOT enter If you or your child are feeling sick
- Always wear masks that cover your nose and mouth (ages 2 and up)
- Maintain a physical distance of 6 feet from you and others
- Wash your hands and/or hand sanitize at the entrance, throughout your visit, and before exiting
