Field Trips to the expERIEnce Children’s Museum are a great way to engage students, while infusing knowledge into play, across a broad range of topics including language arts, math, science, health, art, history and culture.
To schedule a field trip please contact the museum by phone (814) 453-3743 two weeks prior to the field trip.
Payment is due no later than the day of the field trip and must be made for the entire group. Anyone paying separately from the group will pay the full admission rate.
$5.00 per student is the field trip admission rate. As of January 1, 2018, the expERIEnce Children’s Museum will no longer be able to honor membership admission while attending as a field trip participant.
One free chaperone for every 5 paying students (5:1 student to chaperone ratio is required).
Food: All food must remain in the designated eating areas. Field trips can reserve the Loft space for lunch for $25.00 per hour.

- Museum field trips can take anywhere from 2-3 hours.
- Walking feet only.
- Inside voices.
- Put items back where they belong.
- Stay with your group.

For all of you teachers looking for ACT 48 credit, Teacher Week is back! This year we’re partnering with the Erie Art Museum and focusing on new ways to engage students. Our goal? Offer a compelling, meaningful and relevant professional development week for K-12 teachers. We’ll show you how to break from your daily routines by incorporating the arts into everything from lesson planning to classroom management. Open to teachers of all grade levels and subjects. Teachers earn 22.5 hours of ACT 48 credit.
