PRE-K
Science Explorers
Kindergarten through 5th Grade STEM.org accreditation signifies that a program or organization meets rigorous standards for STEM education, demonstrating quality, engagement, and effectiveness in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Program Length: Minimum 2 sessions *Overall number of sessions are variable and dependent on program theme
Cost: $15 – $25 per student, per 2 lessons plus travel

Catapult Craze
Launch into learning as we construct a simple machine, the catapult, to hurl pompoms all over the room!
Fantastic Fizz
Create fun, fizzing reactions to discover what effects reaction rates. How will these reactions launch your rocket?

Rockin’ Rainbows
Learn about the properties of light and about the colors of the rainbow. Then we will use special polymers to create our own tube of rainbow colors!
Polar Opposites
Why don’t oil and water mix? We will conduct experiments on density and polarity to find out, then we’ll use our knowledge to make lava lamp test tubes.

Seeing is believing! Use the magic of invisible ultraviolet light to turn slime different colors before our eyes.

Scream in delight as the chemical reactions create a “monster” that goes through a major matter change.
Engineering Adventures
Kindergarten through 5th Grade Future problem-solvers and creators, this one’s for you! Students take on the role of real-world engineers, from acoustic to aerospace, as they tackle exciting hands-on challenges using design thinking, teamwork, and creativity.

Travel fees are in line with the standard mileage rate of 70 cents per mile for business miles.
Mobile Museum can travel up to 75 miles from the museum’s address, 420 French St., Erie, PA 16507.
Travel fees will be incurred for locations further than 10 miles from the museum.
