Visitor expERIEnce Assistant: The Visitor Experience Assistant at the expERIEnce Children’s Museum are the first line of the guest’s experience at the museum. Those in this position will handle all aspects of the visitor experience: welcoming guests, answering phones, collecting and processing memberships, maintaining the retail space, and attending to birthday parties. The Visitor Services department plays an integral role in a successful museum and a positive visit at the expERIEnce Children’s Museum.

Education Assistant: The Education Assistant position at the expERIEnce Children’s Museum specializes in supporting and facilitating the educational programming both on and off site, while maintaining the mission of the museum. These programs are including, but not limited to, classes, camps, pop up floor engagements, as well as mobile outreach experiences. The Education team will also aid the floor staff at individual exhibits throughout the museum and act as Play Guides, helping guests interact with museum exhibits.

Museum Floor Assistant: The Floor Assistant position at the expERIEnce Children’s Museum is the front line, on the floor, day to day, operations assistant. They will be the first line of contact with guests at the exhibits and on the floor in common areas. Floor assistants will act as Play Guides, instructing and demonstrating the inner workings of the exhibit to the museum visitor and their families. They will be entrusted with the answers to all sorts of questions about this project and our future.

Museum Manager: The Museum Manager is a critical member of the operations team overseeing the daily functions of the Museum, including staff and visitors. The manager’s roles will encompass the daily operation of the museum’s point of sale system, providing visitors with exceptional customer service during their visit to the museum, and supporting the floor staff while ensuring the delivery of extraordinary learning experiences for children and their families. This position will work in conjunction with both the Director of Operations and the Director of Member and Visitor Experience to support excellence in our staff.
