FAQs

The programs and exhibits at the expERIEnce Children’s Museum are designed for families with children ages 10 and under.

We encourage guests, including members, to reserve timed tickets in advance. Tickets are valid for your selected day and time of entry. Only a select number of tickets will be sold during each timed entry period as capacity allows.

Yes. All guests aged 1 and older will pay admission. Visit our Hours & Admission . Little ones, under 1, and members receive free general admission.

Members and paying guests are encouraged to reserve their tickets online. Tickets are only available in person as Museum capacity allows. To purchase your timed tickets, visit our Tickets page.

Yes, there is a 15-minute grace period if you are late for your scheduled timed-ticket entry.

The Experience Children’s Museum is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all visitors, including adults with disabilities. To ensure the safety and comfort of our visitors with disabilities, we require that they are accompanied by a caregiver who is responsible for supervising them throughout their visit to the museum.

No, the expERIEnce Children’s Museum requires that children be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the museum. Programming and exhibits encourages adult-child interaction

Yes, the expERIEnce Children’s Museum is wheelchair accessible.

As an institution that values children and mothers, you are welcome to nurse wherever you feel comfortable. Quiet Coves will be available, coming Spring 2024.

Unfortunately, while we are doing timed ticketing, Museum guests cannot leave and come back the same day.

Yes, there is limited seating on the 2nd floor of the Museum at the tables next to Erie Eats. Food is not available for purchase at the Museum. Please visit one of our neighborhood vendors before or after your visit.
