This summer, let curiosity take the lead and the beat guide your feet! The Playdate Playlist brings live music into the museum for a series of playful, interactive performances designed with little learners in mind.
From classical strings to high-energy rock and hands-on drumming, each session offers families a chance to explore sound, rhythm, and movement together – all through the power of play.
It’s music made for dancing, clapping, learning, and laughing!
Sunday, June 22 | 1:30 – 2:30 PM
Feel the beat! Kick off the series with an energizing percussion experience that gets everyone in rhythm.
*No drumming skills required.
🎻 Junior Philharmonic String Quartet
Wednesday, July 2 | 2:30 – 3:30 PM
Relax and enjoy a beautiful blend of classical and familiar tunes, performed live by talented young musicians.

Turn up the volume with high-energy covers from a local favorite. It’s a set the whole family can rock out to.
Wednesday, August 13 | 1 – 2 PM
Wrap up the series with the energy and talent of this all-kids band as they bring big sound and fresh fun to the stage. Reminder: creativity and confidence have no age limit!
