Birthdays deserve more than cake and balloons, they deserve a whole museum! Our birthday party packages take the stress off your plate so you can soak up every moment of the celebration.
Pick your package, bring your crew, and let the fun do the rest.
We love to have children visit the museum on their birthday. For the comfort of all visitors, the museum cannot accommodate unscheduled parties on the grounds.

Birthday FAQs
Please note: A deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking
A final payment link with the remainder of the birthday cost will be emailed one (1) week prior to the reservation and is due prior to the party
Any additional costs that are incurred during the party must be paid the day of the party
Cancellations are permitted with a minimum of two (2) weeks advance notice prior to the reserved date
Permitted cancellations may use the $100 deposit towards another party reservation – The carried over deposit expires and is not refundable after one (1) year
Cancellations made within two (2) weeks of the party will forfeit all monies paid
All parties include up to 36 guests (birthday child and family, all adults and children)
Babies under one (1) year of age are not included in final guest count
Parties cannot exceed 36 total guests in one classroom, due to building fire code. Any additional guests will be charged the $10 admission rate and will not be able to be in the classroom.
A second party room can be added on to the birthday party for an additional $100 – This expands your guest list to up to 50 people, with an additional 10 slots for $10 per person. Secondary party room availability is limited, and we suggest renting in advance, if you believe you will be over the limit of 36 total party guests.
Museum staff will arrange tables and chairs as needed in the party rooms. Each classroom has tables and chairs for gifts, food, and guests, including:
• 7 tables in Classroom I
• 6 tables in Classroom III
• Child height and adult height sinks in all rooms
• Full size refrigerator with freezer available in all rooms
• High chairs are available upon request
The party host may arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled party time and check in with the staff at the front desk
To unload items, we recommend you park with your hazard lights on in front of the main entrance on French Street. A museum cart will be available for unloading – Once items are unloaded, the car must be moved to a parking space
Birthday party guests must check-in at the front desk upon arrival. They will receive a wristband and free admission (up to 36 total guests , including party host and birthday child).
Museum staff will announce when the party is ready over the museum’s sound system.
The party host family is responsible for set up and clean up, loading and unloading party items – This includes removing all food and drinks from tables prior to leaving.
The museum will:
• Provide a cart for loading and unloading
• Set up tables and chairs prior to the party, as designated by party host
• Sweep the floors, wipe tables down and take out the trash at the end of the party
Party hosts are welcome to bring tablecloths and tabletop decorations.
Each classroom has 2 multicolor balloon clusters for parties – The museum does not provide any other decorations.

Party hosts are responsible for providing their own paper products, including plates, napkins and cutlery, as well as cake cutters and cake accessories, like candles, lighters, etc.
