The Sylvan Insight Assessment helps pinpoint your child’s exact academic level using a combination of adaptive computer, paper-based, and interactive tools. The test starts with on-grade level topics and adapts based on performance, ensuring it’s neither too hard nor too easy, leaving students feeling positive and confident!
Assessments are available for grades PreK-12, with individual subject assessments taking 20-30 minutes and a full view of reading, writing, and math taking around 1.5 hours.
Younger students are assessed on letter recognition, sight words, and basic math facts. For older students, they offer a Study Skills Qualifier to help them manage time, organize, and take notes effectively.
